Andrew Jukes was a man of the “Word” with an exceptional depth of understanding in the Old Testament. This is not a light read, but a very thorough study of God’s unfailing love for all people. Jukes was the pastor of St. John’s Church in London in the nineteenth century. He was a graduate of Harrow and Trinity College, Cambridge. He authored a number of highly respected Christian books. Here are the names of the titles that I am aware of; there may be more: “The Names of God,” “Types in Genesis,” “Four Views of Christ,” “The Law of the Offerings,” and of course, the title that I am recommending here on our topic: “The Second Death and the Restitution of all Things.” Kregel Publishers, Grand Rapids, Michigan has republished a number of his titles. You may need to do a Google search to find them.
This is the first book I have read on this topic. It spoke very powerfully to me. I realize this is an older writing, but please don’t let that hold you back. It is worth all your effort to read it. If you have majored in English and are comfortable with old English, maybe you could re-write it for today. It is a book with a significant online audience. We would be willing to help you.
